Texas LaserCheck

How we verify

Texas Laser Check is compiled from public records, not from who paid to be listed.

Sources

We download TDLR's daily Laser Hair Removal Facility file and keep facilities with status CURRENT and an expiry date on or after the day we checked. Expired facilities are simply left out; we never label a named business as unlicensed.

Facilities owned or operated by a physician for the practice of medicine, licensed hospitals and hospital-owned clinics are exempt from the facility license (Health and Safety Code §401.510), so they are not in TDLR's file or on this site.

"Licensed locations under this name" counts current facility licenses whose licensee name matches after removing entity suffixes. It is a guide to chains, not an official ownership link. TDLR's certificate file for individual technicians lists only a county, so staff cannot be matched to facilities and are not shown.

Lists are alphabetical. We do not rate or review facilities. Featured listings appear in a labelled box and never change the order.

What a badge means

Licensed: the facility appears in TDLR's daily Laser Hair Removal Facility file with status CURRENT and an expiry date on or after the day we checked. We only publish positive matches. A listing without a badge is not an accusation — most gaps are name variations between registries.

Freshness

Data was last refreshed on 2026-10-16. TDLR regenerates its license files every morning; we re-pull them weekly. Confirm current status on TDLR's license search.
